The final list of selected applicants for the I.PaC Call for Applications (Digital Infrastructure for Cultural Heritage Information) has been published atAvviso pubblico per la presentazione di domande di partecipazione per aderire all’Infrastruttura digitale per il patrimonio informativo culturale – I.PaC. The call was promoted by the Central Institute for the Digitization of Cultural Heritage - digital library- in implementation of the provisions set out by the Directorate-General for Digitalisation and communication of the Ministry of Culture.
The call for applications was open to local authorities, universities, and cultural institutions that were not already integrated into centralized information systems (such as archival superintendencies, state libraries, and state archives), and aimed to support the technological upgrading of their systems.
Specifically, the objective is to support institutions in cooperating with the I.PaC infrastructure and in the consequent adhesion to the digital ecosystem for culture – Ecomic, through updating and alignment interventions with the required technological requirements.
In this way, the institutions' systems can join the shared national infrastructure, contributing to the networking, management and valorization of digital cultural heritage and its interoperability on a national scale.
Following the evaluation process, the following annexes have been approved:
– Allegato 1 – Domande ammissibili, in descending order of score;
– Allegato 2 – Domande non ammesse, with the corresponding reasons.
The publication of the final list represents a key step in the launch of integration, technical support, and digital services development activities, with the aim of strengthening the national network for the promotion of Italy's cultural heritage.
All documentation is available in the “Atti e Normativa – Avvisi” section of the Ministry of Culture website.
