The Directorate-General for Digitalization and Communication (DG-DC) oversees institutional communication and the development of the communication initiatives program pursuant to Article 11 of the Law of 7 June 2000, No. 150, in coordination with the Minister’s direct collaboration offices.
Furthermore, the DG-DC manages the promotion, dissemination, and updating, in coordination with the departments and in liaison with the Minister’s direct collaboration offices, of information related to the Ministry’s policies.
In particular, Service I – Technological Innovation, Digitalization and Communication is assigned the following responsibilities in the field of communication:
- Management and implementation of the Ministry’s website and intranet, as well as monitoring and informational coordination of websites and portals related to the Ministry’s activities.
- Drafting of the annual communication plan pursuant to Article 11 of the Law of 7 June 2000, No. 150, in coordination with the Minister’s direct collaboration offices.
- Fulfillment of transparency obligations, in agreement with the Directorate-General for Human Resources and Organization.
- Management of the organization of conferences and other events outside the Ministry’s premises.
