Operational unit: Communication

The Directorate-General for Digitalization and Communication (DG-DC) oversees institutional communication and the development of the communication initiatives program pursuant to Article 11 of the Law of 7 June 2000, No. 150, in coordination with the Minister’s direct collaboration offices.

Furthermore, the DG-DC manages the promotion, dissemination, and updating, in coordination with the departments and in liaison with the Minister’s direct collaboration offices, of information related to the Ministry’s policies.

In particular, Service ITechnological Innovation, Digitalization and Communication is assigned the following responsibilities in the field of communication:

  • Management and implementation of the Ministry’s website and intranet, as well as monitoring and informational coordination of websites and portals related to the Ministry’s activities.
  • Drafting of the annual communication plan pursuant to Article 11 of the Law of 7 June 2000, No. 150, in coordination with the Minister’s direct collaboration offices.
  • Fulfillment of transparency obligations, in agreement with the Directorate-General for Human Resources and Organization.
  • Management of the organization of conferences and other events outside the Ministry’s premises.
