The DPaaS Data Product Catalog is now available, the new access point to the digital resources developed from the cultural data of the Ecomic – Digital Ecosystem for Culture.
The Catalog allows public administrations, cultural institutions, businesses, universities, and research centers to identify, consult, and request the reuse of datasets, APIs, dashboards, and other digital products, fostering the development of innovative services, research activities, and new forms of collaboration between public and private stakeholders.
Data Products are developed within DPaaS (Data Product as a Service), the environment that integrates, processes, and enriches cultural heritage data to make it available in the form of ready-to-use digital resources. Through the Catalog, it is possible to leverage the products already developed within the ecosystem, promoting the reuse of information and reducing the time and costs involved in designing new services and applications.
The initiative represents a further step forward in the implementation of the National Plan for the Digitalization of Cultural Heritage (PND), helping to strengthen data sharing, interoperability between systems, and the enhancement of digital cultural heritage.
